Birth Trauma Support Group

Free to Attend

If you are a birth trauma survivor (someone who has lived birth trauma experience or a complicated perinatal story), we welcome you to join us at our monthly peer support group. The group is free to attend. It is typically offered both in-person and virtually and is a non-judgemental, compassionate space for you to be around other people with similar feelings and/or experiences where you can share as much or as little as you like. There is no time restriction to your experience, all are welcome.

This group is regularly held the third Wednesday of each month. The next meeting will be held virtually on November 12th from 7:00-8:30pm ET.

Flora’s Walk Ottawa 2026

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Join us in-person for a morning of connection, listening, learning, walking and advocating for perinatal mental health. Flora’s Walk is Canada’s largest perinatal mental health fundraiser taking place in over 50 cities across Canada. The event culminates in May, World Maternal Mental Health Month, where, after months of fundraising and planning, walks and events are held in cities across Canada throughout the month of May to call attention to the need for improved perinatal mental health care.

Perinatal and Infant Loss Support Group

Free to Attend

These check-ins are for individuals who have experienced perinatal loss related to miscarriage, medical loss, still birth, infant loss or adoption loss. There is no time restriction for your experience, all are welcome. These groups are free to attend and the next meeting will be held virtually on December 3rd from 7:00pm - 8:30pm ET.

Health Care Professionals Support (Individual or Group)

Free

This group is intended to hold space for those that are working with the perinatal community and have experienced vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and/or burnout related to their professional environment. In this current difficult health care landscape, this will be a safe, confidential and judgement-free space for everyone attending to share their experiences, find peer support from other health care professionals who have experienced similar situations, discuss any challenges they are facing and ask questions to the group. We provide individual support, group support and/or group debriefs on an as-needed basis.
